More like side drama. The only thing we served on the side today was confusion at pickup. - Embedded
Nope, we’re keeping it simple. No extras. No cooking. Just survival.

🔍 About the Meal
This wasn’t our first Chipotle rodeo. In fact, we had the exact same meal on Summer 3 – Sunday because it’s one of the rare things my dad likes. So we thought, why not make it a thing? A delicious, low-effort, semi-traditional “meal dad actually enjoys” thing.
Same order. Same location. Completely different chaos.
Last time, the food was ready when Stephen and Dad got there. This time? Nope. The employees insisted there was no order — until they realized… oh wait, they did have it. It was just sitting there being shy. Honestly, if that’s not peak fast casual energy, I don’t know what is.
Consistency in flavor? Yes.
Consistency in execution? Absolutely not.
📝 Sunday Notes
- I went with my classic steak bowl — white rice, no beans, medium corn salsa, extra sour cream, extra cheese, and lettuce. Why mess with perfection?
- The bowls were nicely portioned this time (small miracles).
- Still full at dinner, so yes, I ate the rest cold while watching someone get arrested on YouTube. As one does.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
- The screenshot of the order saved the day — again.
- We got our food. It was good. No one melted. The end.
- Lightroom gave that bowl a glow-up. I mean, look at that cheese! Who needs a filter when you’ve got sodium and good natural light?
