🍽️ The Menu

  • Main Dish: Pepperoni & Provolone Roll-Ups
  • Side Dish: Cottage Cheese
  • Embedded: Reality, plus a splash of Malbec

Tuesday took a left turn — and landed right on Mickey’s plate. Simple roll-ups, creamy cottage cheese, and no regrets.

🔍 About the Meal

Tuesday’s plan called for rice and ham salad, lovingly prepped the night before. But real life had other ideas — and this time, it involved zero chopping and a Mickey plate.

This meal came together out of necessity and fatigue. I pulled together Boar’s Head provolone and sandwich pepperoni, rolled them up like a makeshift antipasto platter, and scooped on some Daisy cottage cheese. A 5 oz pour of Malbec rounded things out at 5:00 PM — because I could.

Was it the meal I planned? Nope.
Was it good? Absolutely.

Daisy 4% Small Curd — the only cottage cheese I’ll eat.
Small deli cup with macaroni and cheese leftovers, eaten for lunch earlier in the day.
Bonus lunch: the last of the mac & cheese made one final appearance.
Package label of Boar’s Head sandwich pepperoni.
Boar’s Head pepperoni — salty, snappy, and no work required.

Provolone from the deli case — because I’m not eating rubbery pre-sliced.

📝 Tuesday Notes

Planned the ham salad, pulled out the ham steak, and… didn’t make it.

Tracked everything.

Finished with two roll-ups and a smear of cottage cheese — tossed.

Sometimes a Mickey plate dinner is the win.

🎬 Behind the Scenes

Started tracking at 3:00 PM, glass of Malbec at 5:00. Ate while watching “whatever was on.” Remembered I had a blog to update halfway through and snapped a few pics. Mac & cheese was there for lunch.
